[INTRODUCTION]

Universal Century 0096. Several months have passed since the incident surrounding Laplace's box also known as the Universal Century Charter. The World Federation Forces dispatch a group of investigators to the severed Axis which is drifting outside the Globe Sphere. Two civilians participate as members of the research grouping: Arlette Almage and Danton Hyleg. Both have pasts with government service to the Principality of Zeon and Neo Zeon as engineer and test pilot. Having infiltrated Axis, the investigators come nether set on inside a base where no ane should exist. Arlette and Dalton are confronted with by incident they never imagined.

Arlette Almage: A talented woman who took office in weapons development for the Principality of Zeon during the I Year State of war. She escaped to Axis post-obit the battle at A Baoa Qu. Later on that, she participated in a wide range of technological developments at Axis. Post-obit the end of the Second Neo Zeon War, she lives with Danton on Side 6 where she accepts an invitation from the Federation Forces Special Forces to return to Axis.

Danton Hyleg: A young examination pilot of the Principality of Zeon during the One Year State of war who was tasked with data conquering on the battlefield. Following the war, he returns to the World Sphere on Axis with Arlette. Although he lived a reclusive life with Arlette following the Centrality Daze, but he will once over again face his past on Axis.

Mehmet Merca:Rank is Lieutenant JG. Commander of the Mastema special forces unit of measurement under the directly control of the Federation authorities. He carries himself in a soft mode that severely contradicts his imposing title. His mannerisms suggest that he is more adept at conversing with civilians rather than military officials.
